Our Mission

We are transforming a historic power plant into a world-class center that will serve as a cradle for invention and a catalyst for new energy innovation and advancement.

The building and its unique history and location in the middle of a lauded urban riparian restoration, San Antonio’s Mission Reach, present multiple opportunities to educate with low-impact design, LEED standards, passive and active solar power, and other energy-efficient features.

EPIcenter will be housed at the long-vacant Mission Road Power Plant on the Mission Reach less than two miles from downtown San Antonio.
