The State of EPIcenter Highlights and Video
There are other think tanks, incubators, fabrication laboratories, exhibits and conference facilities that relate to new energy. Only EPIcenter is putting it all together under one roof as a world-class center. We’ve already finished the schematic design for our building, which I’m happy to share is still tracking along our original budget estimates. If you haven’t already, you can see new renderings here. We’ve built support, both internally with a strong board, executive team and growing Power Network, and externally with strategic partners and advisers. We’re also putting our mission into motion with events like our EPIcenter Summit and New Energy Incubator. See more highlights from the State of EPIcenter here.
EPIcenter Board Chairman Cris Eugster aids Puerto Rico Recovery
The aftermath of Hurricane Maria has left Puerto Rico struggling to get basic systems back on track. EPIcenter’s Board Chairman and CPS Energy’s Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Cris Eugster, is proving to be a valuable resource in that ongoing recovery effort. Dr. Eugster was recently appointed co-chair of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority’s (PREPA’s) Transformation Advisory Council (TAC). His leadership and insight will help Puerto Rico achieve a sustainable energy future. “I am confident that together, we will guide critical decisions that will help rebuild and transform Puerto Rico’s electric system,” Dr. Eugster says. Join us in our congratulations.
EPIcenter Summit May 3
Please save May 3, 2018 for our second EPIcenter Summit at Pearl Stable. Like our inaugural Summit on the Internet of Things, this year’s event promises to be a dynamic gathering of thought leaders, community stakeholders and innovators focused on "Disaster Disabled | Resilience Reinvented." Look forward to more provocative discussions and interactive presentations as we finalize details about the theme and lineup. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts about energy innovation in D2R2 terms.
